WENDY-KAY LOGAN is a board member and seasoned technology executive with nearly 25 years of experience scaling and transforming global businesses in complex regulatory environments. Refined through leadership at Google, McKinsey, and industrial automation/AI companies, she brings a distinctive MIT systems approach to strategy oversight and governance—bridging technology fluency, systems thinking, and business judgement. Valued for her expertise navigating innovation cycles and strategic pivots, driving growth in global markets, and leading organizations through data privacy & cybersecurity crises, Logan advises startups to Fortune 50 giants on driving sustainable growth and long-term value.

Logan brings a disciplined focus on capital allocation, enterprise resilience, and human capital strategy to the boardroom. During her eight-year tenure at Google, she worked closely with the executive team on key board-related topics, including the Alphabet governance model, data privacy risk, and compensation models. Logan is a MIT-trained engineer skilled at mobilizing data and AI transformations that strategically unlock top and bottom-line growth. Her experience includes leading Google's business messaging platform to 200 million monthly messages and strengthening data protections for 2B+ Gmail users and 3M+ Android apps.

Logan also played a pivotal role in leading Google's product response to the COVID-19 pandemic, where she worked with global health authorities and tech platforms to launch digital health tools used by over 250 million users. Her leadership was instrumental in scaling these solutions globally while navigating complex regulatory landscapes and cross-sector data privacy standards. Logan led the strategy and ecosystem efforts for the solution (a breakout success recognized by Popular Science as one of its 2020 Innovations of the Year).

Before joining Google, Logan was a leader at McKinsey & Company, advising C-suite leaders of tech and healthcare companies on value creation with digital and AI – enabling over $1B in EBITDA value. She previously held product and engineering roles at Raytheon Space Systems (NYSE: RTX), Motorola (NYSE: MSI), and National Instruments (NASDAQ: NATI). Her unique breadth of innovation, international, and data privacy and cybersecurity experience helps her engage effectively in the boardroom to committees including technology and risk.

Logan is an AI advisor to Rice University and has served on a variety of boards, including the Forte Foundation, MIT Sloan Dean’s Board, and the IVI Foundation, an industrial automation/AI standards body. She was named by SF Business Times as one of the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business and by Rice University as one of less than 40 Top Young Engineering Alumni in the school’s 100+ year history. She was also a featured speaker at MIT’s Responsible Data Summit.

Logan earned a BA in Computer Science from Rice University, an MS in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. Originally from Jamaica, Logan lives in San Francisco, where she is an avid hiker and angel investor.
